Cosmote Romania introduces the online payment service

Cosmote Romania introduces the online payment service COSMOTE Romania introduces the online payment service, an easier and time-saving way to pay the monthly bill or to recharge a prepaid SIM card. The online payment service is available by simply accesing/creating a WebCare account.

The new service is available for all COSMOTE’s prepaid and postpaid (residential and business) customers, Customers have to access their WebCare account at http://webcare.cosmote.ro and pay online the monthly invoice and recharge a prepaid SIM card.

The online payment invoice service allows transactions of up to 5,000 RON and offers the possibility to pay the current invoice or pay it in advance. Users can also choose to pay the invoice for another COSMOTE subscriber.

A COSMOTE customer may recharge a prepaid account with the minimum amount of 5 euro up to 100 euro for each transaction.

Moreover, with WebCare account users have the possibility to activate Connect Secure and Connect Mobile extra-options.

COSMOTE Romania customers who have a WebCare account can also activate the electronic bill, replacing the paper invoice with the electronic format.
By opting for the electronic invoice, COSMOTE Romania customers can contribute to a healthier environment by reducing the consumption of paper and saving trees. The e-bill has the same fiscal value as a hard-copy invoice thanks to the embedded electronic signature with the timestamp provided by DigiSign as accredited certification service provider and to the barcode bearing the same information as a printed bill.

COSMOTE Romania had approximately 6.5 million customers at December 31st, 2011. Launched in 2005, COSMOTE Romania achieved the fastest network development in Europe, according to the Citigroup report in June 2007. In less than 5 years, COSMOTE Romania surpassed its competitors in terms of national network coverage. Today, COSMOTE Romania offers seamless communication to more than 99% of the population and 90% of the territory. COSMOTE Romania is a subsidiary of COSMOTE Group, the operator with the strongest presence in SE Europe with approximately 20.5 million customers in Greece, Albania, Bulgaria and Romania..

I think we give advertising a bit too much crdiet. Not a lot of people think about the minute details of what this and that may mean. the goal is to make a point and we do it without thinking of consequences :-)@ anonymous: ethics and advertising, wow, that will be the day! sorry to sound cynical but advertising has nothing to do with ethics today or any day. I find more and more that talking about these two in the same sentence gets you weird looks from everyone

My information at the time of wrnitig was correct. I didn't mention Cosmote because I couldn't verify their level of stock or pricing, but Vodafone had enough handsets for both new contracts and upgrades on launch day, via collection (depending on store) or by courier; something which didn't occur with the 3G.
