Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S, available starting March at COSMOTE and Germanos Romania

COSMOTE and Germanos Romania announce the availability in all stores, starting March, of the new Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S, the handset awarded by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA), for the best camera phone – 8.1 MPx for 2011-2012.
Arc S is a special phone, combining both the advantages offered by Android 2.3, and the Sony Bravia technology, available on the Japanese TV sets. Thus, thanks to the 1.4 GHz processor, the speed for launching the photo camera, media conversion and web rendering is 25% higher than usual and the image defines new, higher quality standards.
The photo camera ensures quality photographing even in low luminosity and the video recording is HD format, at 720 pixels and 30 fps. You can make photo-panoramas with Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S thanks to the 3D & 2D Sweep Panorama technology, which allows combining up to 100 photos in one frame only – which is excellent for landscape photographing for example. The HD Multimedia Interface allows viewing films and photos just like on a TV set and also the transfer of images on a wider screen. As of the audio experience, the phone has a standard 3.5 mm jack for connecting high fidelity headsets for a perfect sound.
The Android 2.3 OS facilitates the direct access to Google services: Android Market, Google Maps, Google Places and Google Voice Search, an extraordinary functionality allowing the vocal searches. The storage capacity is 1 GB, the phone comes with a 8 GB memory card and optionally it can use a 32 GB card.
Connectivity: HSDPA up to 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA up to 5.8 Mbps, plus Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB.
The 4.2 inch capacitive touchscreen is scratch proof and offers, through the Mobile Bravia Engine technology, a visual experience identical with those of Sony TV sets. The terminal is only 8.7 mm thick and comes available in various Midnight Blue colour.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S can be bought for 644 lei (VAT included) with Smart XXL subscription from COSMOTE Romania and is also available in the COSMOTE and Germanos stores without subscription, at the price of 1.799 lei (VAT included).
Besides telecommunication, Germanos also offers a wide array of services: G-Life Guarantee Service – warranty for all the duration of usage of the phone bought from Germanos, G-agenda plus – the transfer of multimedia content from one mobile phone to another, G-technical service, G-invoice payment – for COSMOTE, Zapp, Romtelecom and NextGen services, G-crediting – the possibility to purchase products in instalments or G-ticket – tickets for music and cultural events, G-preorder - a web based service which offers in premiere the last novelties in telecom, and which gadget lovers can pre-order before these products are being introduced into the market.
In Romania, GERMANOS is present since 1996, becoming the main retail and distribution network for mobile telephony products and services..

I was wondering why such lousy decive can be sold to consummer, I regret sold away my HTC Touch Pro getting this nonsense simply because I need higher resolution.The Xperia keyboard is totally useless, everybody notice its defect even hands on for few seconds.Until I read your blog, I send my Xperia to Simei for repair though I know proably I may lost all my sms & photbook for couple days but I have to do it otherwise better dispose it.Surprisingly after 2 hours, SE service centre called me and I collected the working Xperia. Honestly it is still not as good as the HTC keyboard but typo errors are gone.

PSP, особенно с голям Memory Stick e едновременно MP3 payler, video payler (след конвертиране), може да показва снимки (с mp3 като фон след firmware 3.7), има си browser (ако наоколо има WiFi), podcast support и разбира се може да се играят игри Това е само началото. С малко упражнение може да се вързва и да stream-ва mp3-та от pc-то в къщи през Internet. И да не забравя видео камерата (1.3 MPix). Интеграцията с PS3 e впечатляваща и ще става все по-добра.

Eu sinceramente ne3o tennedo como voceas compram ainda celular da sony. Tenho um xperia X10 e eles enrolam a um ano a instalae7e3o do android 2.3 para o mesmo. Ja quebramos o pau e o que els fazem? lane7am o xperia arc para os bestas que ne3o sabem que pagaram caro por algo que o Xperia X10 faz e esta muito mais barato. Eu sinceramente, so compro agora celular se for samsung galaxy S2. da sony nunca mais.
