Cosmote Romania reduces roaming tariffs

Starting July 1st, 2011 COSMOTE Romania reduces the roaming tariffs for the voice calls in the states member of the European Union with up to 26.7%.
COSMOTE Romania reduces by 10.3% the roaming tariffs for all calls originated from EU countries and by 26.7% the ones received within the EU space, starting July 1st, according to the European Commission regulations.
Thus, all COSMOTE customers, both subscribers and prepaid, will benefit from the Roaming Avantaj tariffs of 0.35 euro/min (VAT not included) for initiated calls and of 0.11 euro/min (VAT not included) for the calls received within the EU countries.
„The advantageous tariffs come to the benefit of our customers, offering them the possibility to pay less for the same time spent on phone, especially as summer is the perfect period for holidays. The new tariffs encourage them to talk with their loved ones back home more relaxed and with no concerns about the communicating costs when they travel”, Oana Cristea, Wholesales Department Senior Manager, COSMOTE Romania, stated.
Moreover, whether they are in vacation or in a business trip, the customers can also enjoy the benefits of the Roaming Traveler extra option, available for subscribers as well as prepaid customers, through which they can use the national and international minutes included in their subscription or extra options to talk while abroad.
