Jones Lang LaSalle has won a new Property Management instruction for Carrefour Militari Retail Gallery. As of January 1st 2013, the company will be responsible for the property management of the shopping gallery of Carrefour Militari located West of Bucharest, with a total gross leasable area of 3,634 sq m.
The property is owned by Pradera Central European Fund (PCEF) and is a well-established retail scheme trading since 2001, with Carrefour Militari being the first hypermarket opened in Romania.
Laura Niculescu, Head of Property Management at Jones Lang LaSalle, states: “This instruction is a continuation of our long-term successful partnership with Pradera Group and an opportunity for the property management team to use the combined experience in order to maintain a high level of occupancy, to reduce operating costs and to bring additional value to the scheme.”
The Property Management department of Jones Lang LaSalle was established in 2010 and currently manages a diverse portfolio of over 195,000 sq m nationwide, including office, retail and industrial properties for investment funds, institutional and private owners such as Aviva Investors, Catalyst Capital, Chayton Capital, Nova Imobiliare and UniCredit Leasing.
